The voices that make Echo, Echo

Echo is built on a quiet promise: one honest minute. We're not a feed. We're a ritual. The whole world hears the same prompt, leaves a one-take voice, and unlocks the rest. To keep that quiet promise, here's what we ask.

Be a voice, not a noise

• One take. Don't fake or rehearse to perform.
• Respond to the prompt. The prompt is the whole point.
• If you have nothing to say, you don't have to record.

What we don't allow

• Threats, harassment, doxxing, or stalking.
• Hate speech or slurs targeting groups by identity.
• Sexual content involving anyone under 18. Reported to NCMEC.
• Incitements of self-harm or graphic descriptions of suicide.
• Recording someone else without their consent.
• Spam, scams, or links to malware.
• Impersonation of real people.

When in doubt

Tap the report icon on any voice. Three reports auto-hide a voice pending review. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.

Consequences

For minor violations: removal of the voice and a heads-up. For repeated or serious violations: account suspension or permanent ban. Illegal content is reported to law enforcement.
