I built Echo because I was tired of performing.
Every app I opened wanted me louder, faster, more. None of them wanted me to listen. So I made the opposite: a place where you say one honest thing a day, then go quiet and hear everyone else.
There's nothing to chase here. No followers, no numbers, no feed that never ends. Just voices: yours, and a room full of strangers who showed up the same day you did.

Three things we believe.
Voice over text.
Text is fast and shallow. A voice carries the cracks, the pauses, the breath someone takes before saying the hard thing.
Listening is the point.
Most apps reward talking. Echo makes you listen first. You can't hear the world until you've added your own voice to it.
Nothing to perform.
No likes, no followers, no public counts of anything. When there's no scoreboard, people finally say what they actually mean.
